Week of the 'Lasts'

I DIDN'T GET TO MEET DANIEL!!!!! (sob) we were suppose to have a street preach in duisburg on saturday... we were on the train and heading there... i was excited, i had made space on my camera to take pictures etc... and then we get a call... the street preach has been moved to düsseldorf!!! so i called and left a message on daniel`s phone. anyway i called again on sunday to tell him that we were going to go out to eat as a district on friday night because i`m going home and that he was invited. he called yesterday. he's going to come to dinner with all of us this coming friday. so yes i will take pictures. i can't wait to meet him!!!!!

yvonne FINALLY came to church again after a 3 week absense. she wasn't going to go last week but as she was thinking about it and then thunder BOOMED by her apartment and God said: yvonne you get your pants on and get ready - there is someone coming to get you. you get to church. sure enough the bishops wife showed up a little bit later to take her to church. so she came which was good. every time she comes she always says how great it is and that she needs to come every week. i don't understand her sometimes. anyway i`m glad she came. i`m just hoping that she comes again next week....my last sunday is germany!

so this is the week of the ´lasts´... last appointments, last district meeting, last church meetings, etc. very strange. i feel like i`m just getting transferred... which i am but this transfer is slightly different.

anyway well next email is the last email....and next week i`m home!!! (finally!) prepare yourself to carry around a german-english dictionary. gramper is already on the ball and practicing his german. i can't speak normal english anymore. i end up throwing a german word in at least every sentence or two.
