A Crazy Weekend

so sunday was stake conference and like the craziest morning of my life. but it actually started on saturday evening....

so first of all our zone leaders had asked us as a district to speak ONLY german on saturday as an experiement. so saturday was already hard because for some reason my german was poop and sister olson was getting mad at me because she couldn't understand me and then i got sad because she was mad and i felt stupid. but then i called the bishop because he was suppose to give Yvonne a ride to stake conference on sunday and he said that he couldn't give her a ride anymore! i was like - were you going to call and tell us this??? so its like 7pm on saturday evening - no ride for Yvonne. and the whole ward is at stake conference and not answering phones! so english words are flying out of my mouth because i am mad. i finally get a hold of someone in the ward who said that they'd take her. so that was nice.

now its sunday morning. we take the train to düsseldorf for stake conference and we get to the düsseldorf train station to find out that there is a marathon this day and none of the buses or street cars that take us to the church are running. and it's a long way to walk there plus we don't have a map. so we call the zone leaders and meet them up and so we get to stake conference like 20 minutes late. then there is only like 30 minutes left and Yvonne's daughter starts losing it and is running around. Yvonne like never says no to her daughter so it was a little frustrating. anyway after conference i go find President Ninow because he has to give Yvonne a baptismal interview. but he's talking to someone and so i`m waiting and waiting so then sister olson comes and says that she`ll get president and i need to go find Yvonne. so i`m like running through the crowds of people trying to find yvonne and our district leader because he has the baptismal record that needed to be filled out. while i`m running around i see Pierre who i haven't seen since october and he wanted to say hi but i didn't have time. anyway finally found everyone and Yvonne got her baptismal interview. got to talk to Pierre for a minute too. and Yvonne passed the interview!!!! she's getting baptized on saturday at 7pm!!!!

and that was my crazy weekend.
